Legends speak of the Great Calamity, an ancient battle where the Goddess Fulfillment sealed away her brother, known as the Nameless God, into the depths of the Abyss to prevent him from turning the sun into a Void and casting the world and its inhabitants into Emptiness. ​
In recent times the Oracle of Fulfillment has come down with a warning that the Nameless God would be born into the world as a mortal and would create the Second Great Calamity.
The story follows Nabu, a young fox-human shapeshifter who is thought to be the incarnation of the Nameless God and must flee for his life while the entire country has made him public enemy number one – all while causing the burning hatred within him to grow.

In a world of nobles, witches, and war, Vati seeks his own path.
